NTE v1.2 Event Shop Priority — What to Claim Before August 19

The rule: spend every expiring currency before the shop closes

Version 1.2 has two event shops with currencies that are tied to the patch window:

• Mystery Buttons from the 999 Nights mini-game, spent in the Button Shop
• Paper Cup Phones from Shadow-n-Seek, spent in the Shadebound Shop

The official notes place both events in the window ending August 19, 2026 at 05:59 (UTC+8). Do not treat that as a safe time to start spending: open the relevant live shop and confirm its own countdown, then use the currency before it disappears.

A practical claim order

This is a decision order, not a claim that every item has the same price or account value.

1. Claim the limited cosmetic you would genuinely regret missing. The official 999 Nights list includes Shinku’s Normie Heroine outfit; Esper Zero and Mint outfits and related colors; plus limited profile cosmetics. If one is your goal, reserve its listed cost before buying anything else.
2. Take remaining limited profile cosmetics. The Button Shop includes the Dawn Warrior title, Forever Fuzzy namecard, Poet’s Epilogue avatar, and Moonlit Dragon avatar frame. These are the least replaceable rewards once the event ends.
3. Spend the remainder on pull and progression rewards. The official list includes Annulith, Floe Cinema Tickets, and Fons. These are the sensible cleanup purchases after your desired limited cosmetic is reserved.
4. Do the same for Shadow-n-Seek. Spend Paper Cup Phones in the Shadebound Shop before the event window ends. The official announcement confirms the shop and its currency, but does not publish a complete price/value table—use the live shop for its current inventory and costs.

What not to assume

The official patch notes identify the reward families and event dates; they do not establish a universal best purchase, an exact completion cost, or whether a reward will rerun. Avoid planning around an old screenshot or a community price table when the in-game shop is available.

If you are short on time, first secure the cosmetic you want, then empty the event currency into the progression rewards currently displayed in your client. Leaving any event currency unspent is usually the only irreversible loss.

Pair the shops with the rest of the patch

• Complete your seven Circle Gifts logins for Solid Dice ×10.
• Run 999 Nights early enough to earn and spend Mystery Buttons.
• Finish Shadow-n-Seek and spend Paper Cup Phones.
• Do Gold Clash before its earlier August 3 end time, then claim Circle Bounty rewards by August 18, 23:59.
