NTE Farming Guide — Pixels, City Stamina, and the Daily Routine

NTE hides a surprisingly deep economy under its open-world surface. There are two separate stamina pools, a weekly boss rotation, a battle-pass-style bounty board, and half a dozen currencies that never mix. Get the daily loop right in week one and you will never feel resource-starved later. Get it wrong and every S-Rank you pull will sit under-leveled.

The two stamina systems

This is the part that trips up every new player, because most gacha games only have one bar.

Character Pixels are your combat stamina. They regenerate at 1 point every 6 minutes — 240 per day — and they do not bank overflow. Once you hit the cap, extra regen is simply lost, so letting pixels sit full overnight is literally throwing time away. Spend them on Anomaly Zone dungeons (material runs), story and side quests, and open-world Anomaly Hunts. A consumable restores 60 pixels at a time, and you can also refill with Annulith — the first few refills cost 60, later ones climb to 120. Free-to-play: don’t.

City Stamina powers the city-life side of the game — the Hethereau Hobbies like racing, deliveries, fishing, the cafe, and fight club. It does not regenerate over time at all. Instead it refills to full every Monday at 5:00 AM server time. Your cap starts at 100 and grows with your City Tycoon level: 200 at Lv5, 350 at Lv10, 500 at Lv16, and 700 at Lv23. A Refresh Recharge item restores 100 (and can push you over the cap), or you can spend 100 Annulith, up to ten times a week.

A few hobbies cost no City Stamina at all — Pink Paws Heist, Little Sparrow (mahjong), and Tetrominoes are free. Do those regardless.

The daily routine

In rough priority order, a clean daily takes about 20–30 minutes:

1. Claim the Login Gift. It lives on the in-game phone’s event page, not the main menu, and people miss it constantly. It has included free pulls, Annulith, and even characters during launch events.

2. Clear Circle Bounty participation tasks. This is NTE’s battle pass. Daily tasks — log in, earn 10,000 Fons, spend Character Pixels, reach 100 activity — each grant bounty EXP toward a 12,000 weekly cap. The cap means you can’t cram a week into one day, so consistent dailies are the only way to finish the track.

3. Burn your Character Pixels. Run the Anomaly Zone dungeons for whatever your current characters lack — EXP and Beetle Coin stages first for a fresh roster, skill and weapon materials once you have a core team. Spending pixels also feeds your Hunter Level, so hoarding them costs you twice.

4. Spend City Stamina before Monday. Whatever you don’t use before the weekly reset is gone. Push it into the hobbies that reward the materials you need — several pay out Fons and Annulith directly.

5. Hit the check-in points scattered around the city. Small rewards, zero cost, takes a minute.

Where materials actually drop

Anomaly Zones are the instanced, pixel-costing dungeons. They break into four categories: character EXP and Beetle Coin stages, skill-material stages, weapon-material stages, and the Cartridge Archive for gear. Higher difficulties improve the drop quality, so push the highest tier you can clear quickly rather than grinding a low tier on autopilot.

Anomaly Hunts are open-world bosses that respawn. They drop the Silhouette materials (Fading, Blurred, Chaos tiers — lower ones synthesize upward) that characters need at every level breakthrough, plus Beetle Coin and the character-specific ascension items each roster member demands.

Weekly bosses — the Anomaly Pilgrimage — are non-negotiable. Three bosses, rewards once per week, reset Monday at 4:00 AM:

  • Morphix (Green Wall Slope) — drops the Good Boy Stamp
  • Never-Ending Arachne (Ebisu Auction House)
  • Debt Collector (Constantine Manor)

The Good Boy Stamp is the reason you cannot skip these: it is required to push skills from level 7 to 10 and to unlock passive skills, and weekly bosses are its main source. Miss a week and your skill upgrades stall for a week.

Pink Paws Heist deserves a special mention — a once-per-week bank heist minigame that costs no City Stamina and can pay out around a million Fons a week. It is the single best Fons-per-effort ratio in the game.

The currencies, in one place

  • Annulith — the premium currency you can also earn. Quests, events, exploration, and achievements all pay it. Buys dice (160 per pull), Tri-Keys, and stamina refills. Spend it on limited banners only.
  • Riftcrystal — the paid-only currency. Converts 1:1 into Annulith; otherwise used for cosmetics and bundles.
  • Fons — the city-life currency for vehicles, property, and shops.
  • Beetle Coin — combat progression currency for ascension and skill upgrades. You will never feel like you have enough.
  • Solid Dice — limited character banner pulls. Fabricated Dice — standard banner pulls. Never buy Fabricated Dice with Annulith.
  • Warp Piece / Lost Piece — gacha byproducts exchanged in their own shops for pull items and standard characters.
  • Tri-Key — the endgame weapon currency. S-Rank Arc exchanges cost 25 each, and the Arc banner takes 10 per ten-pull.

The upgrade material checklist

When you build a character, you will draw from five material families:

  • Hunter Guides (Rising, Senior, Elite) — character XP.
  • Silhouettes (Fading, Blurred, Chaos) — breakthrough at level caps, from open-world enemies and hunts.
  • Skill books (tiered) plus Dyes (Light, Colorless, Chaotic) — skill levels.
  • Good Boy Stamp — skills Lv7–10 and passives, from weekly bosses only.
  • Dreamless Seeds — life skill upgrades, gathered from exploration and daily activities.

Weapons (Arcs) level with their own EXP materials and break through with Appleseed items (Iron, Silver, Golden) every ten levels, capping at Lv.80. For the full equipment picture — Arcs, Classes, and Cartridge sets — see the equipment mechanics guide.

What not to do

Don’t let either stamina cap out — pixels waste themselves, and City Stamina vanishes every Monday. Don’t spend Annulith on stamina refills as a free player; it buys pulls instead. Don’t skip the weekly bosses, ever — the Good Boy Stamp bottleneck is real and unforgiving. And don’t spread materials across your whole roster: build one full team first (the F2P starter team clears everything you need early), then branch out.

If you are brand new, start with the beginner guide for the element and class systems, and read the banner guide before you spend a single die.
