Iroi Build Guide — Best Arc, Speedy Hedgehog Set, Teams & Banner Advice
Iroi is the v1.2 limited healer who ended the Nanally monopoly on high-end teams — she heals, shields, and converts her own HP into team ATK, all from one slot. Everything about her build follows a single rule: stack max HP. Her healing, her shields, and her buff all scale off it. This guide covers gear, teams, and the banner math; her kit overview is on the character page.
Best Arc
Her signature, Dream Pivot Blindfold, carries Base ATK 570 and ATK +30%, with a passive built for her trigger pattern: whenever she heals, the wearer gains an element DMG bonus and the whole team gains an All-Damage bonus for around 20 seconds, refreshable. Since she heals constantly, the buff is effectively permanent.
| Arc | Verdict |
|---|---|
| Dream Pivot Blindfold (signature) | Best in slot — the team-wide damage buff is the point of running her. |
| Call of the Twisted City (A-rank) | HP-scaling stat stick (~37.5% HP). Usable if you’d rather spend on the banner; verify the numbers in-game, this one comes from a single source. |
| Crit-focused Arcs | Avoid. Some shop guides list crit options, but they contradict the community consensus — Iroi does nothing with crit. |
Cartridge set: Speedy Hedgehog
The consensus pick is Speedy Hedgehog, a support set rather than a healer set:
- 2-piece: Charge Efficiency +12%
- 4-piece: After the wearer uses their ultimate, the whole team gains ATK +15% for 20 seconds
The logic: Iroi’s ultimate comes up fast with Charge Efficiency, and the 4-piece turns every cast into a team buff — on top of the ATK conversion she already provides. A pure healer set (HP / Healing Bonus pieces) is the fallback if your team already has enough buff coverage.
Main stats: HP% and Healing Bonus% everywhere they appear. Substat priority: HP% > Healing Bonus% > Charge Efficiency / CDR, with element DMG a distant fourth. Avoid Crit Rate and Crit DMG entirely — dead stats on her.
Skill upgrade order
Ultimate first (it’s her biggest heal, shield, and buff window), her skill second, Normal Attack last. Note this ordering comes from a single community source — most of Iroi’s build knowledge is CN-server experience, so expect refinements as global players log hours.
Teams
Iroi’s headline value: she fully replaces Nanally in Shinku’s support slot while adding survivability the older lineups lacked.
- Top end: Shinku + Iroi + Hathor + Esper Zero — the current ceiling team in Chinese guides.
- Blossom team: Nanally + Esper Zero + Hotori + Iroi.
- Budget: Iroi + Chiz + Jiuyuan + Mint — she slots into almost any comp that lacks sustain.
She is not element-locked; HP conversion is element-agnostic, so she works under any carry.
Duplicates and banner advice
Iroi is fully functional at E0 — that’s the free-to-play stop. E1 smooths her rotation and is the medium-spender graduation point. E2 extends her ultimate’s CC and is only worth spare pulls; E4/E6 are not worth forcing.
Her banner, “The Lifeline” (v1.2 Phase 2), runs July 29 – August 19, 2026 (05:59 UTC+8). As a limited character she does not enter the standard pool and has no guaranteed rerun. Pity math: soft pity around pull 70, hard pity 90, at 160 Annulith per pull — a worst case of 14,400 Annulith. Full details in the banner preview and the banner pulling guide.
F2P verdict: if you lack a dedicated healer, pull E0 — she upgrades every team you own. If your sustain is already covered, skip and save for a main DPS; a healer you don’t need is a luxury, a carry you don’t have is a ceiling.
